About the position

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in the growth of our business. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our business operates in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the successful candidate will have the chance to work with a wide range of clients and partners across the naval architecture and marine engineering industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategy
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Negotiate and close new business deals
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

About the successful applicant

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the naval architecture or marine engineering industries
  • Strong knowledge of the naval architecture and marine engineering industries
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
